Recently the rumor mill has gone into overdrive about the Apple Tablet, likely to be known as the islate. In this video I take a look at what exactly Apple is cooking up for us come January.

    A slightly modified full OSX is what everyone wants, not a iPhone OS. As the name should not have been iPad, iTablet or iSlate would have been much better. No guy will want an iPad, just sounds too much like a maxi-pad. These were 2 critical things they should have set as goals to get it right but failed miserably at.

    Omg can’t wait

    I hope it has a screen protector though, so I don’t scratch it. Maybe it could fold over the screen when not in use?

    Also please attack a keyboard to the folding screen protector so I can actually see the viewing area when typing!

    Agreed… Only iPad was released…. No info on anything else which is quite sad – iPad has no flash player and no multi-tasking (at least thats what it looks like at the moment). Just a better OS for it. No iPhone OS 4.0 was mention or iPhone 4G (with Verizon). To end with a bombshell… Apple have the iPad’s deal with… AT&T! =@

    What upsets me most about this, is that fact that it will only work as is with it’s internal pc parts and OS. I really want a portable screen for my home that is wirelessly HDMI linked to my desktop computer, has wacom pen & pressure sensing tech. Why? Because no laptop will ever rival the power you can obtain from a desktop. I’m disabled and an artist- Why is it Cameron can show us this tech in Avatar- and Wacom can come close with a cintaq (unfortunately wired) but no one can do it wirelessly?

    pritty much an iphone on steroids :D 700 – 1000 dollars? thats not much compared to some apple things which are $2000 +
