Question by ME!: Just rooted HTC EVO 4G today! Tried to install rom, not stuck on white screen-HELPPPPP?
I rooted my phone threw Revolutionary TODAY and the root went perfect… Got S_OFF and SuperUser icons and so on. then I backed up everything to sd then onto a windows based computer file… Ok so I really like the Kinged Shooter custom rom and wanted to add that to my phone which is an HTC EVO 4g runnung 2.3.3, anyways you had to install gruesome wolf?? with the kinged shooter rom.. did that and went to app ROM MANAGER.. rebooted and loaded.. but now its stuck in a boot loop (i am guessing that is what it is called) it only goes to the *htc evo 4g* white screen and then back to the page thing where the droids are on skateboards.. and I can pick fastboot bootloader reboot bootloader or downdown… click bootloader and takes me too hboot where i can click fastboot, recovery, clear storage, simlock, and hboot usb… I have tired EVERY option (using the vol keys and clicking everything) and I still cannot turn my phone back on in any way or get it so recover from clockworkMod recovery, where I had my backup/recovery loaded to sd before doing any of this rom stuff.. so I have tired all the options in clockworkmod and my backup file is not longer there.. its gone.. I am out of options and I am very new to the whole root and rom superuser thing! ha but I cannot lose this phone. And I know there has to be some way this can be fixed.. HELP PLEASSEEE?!?!? adroid… I have Nandroid back up file on computer but i cant get it on my phone!!

I have the same issue as you. I used Revolutionary and I got it to work. I own an HTC Evo.
I really enjoy the rom that I am using. It is based off the HTC Sense rom but very very customizable especially when you install Titanium Backup.
Do not install Rom Manager with this ROM, you do not need it.
By any chance, when you loaded rom manager, you didn’t flash the recovery again did you?

Forum > HTC Evo 4G > HTC Evo 4G Developer Forum > Mik’s Roms > MikG > MikG Htc Sense 2.1 +3.0 > v2.xx > Download Links > Download Latest version.
1. Hold Down on your VOL DOWN to boot into Recovery
2. Wipe data/factory reset & wipe cache partiton
3. Go into Mounts and Storage
4. format /boot ; Format /cafeh; Format /data; format /sdcard; format /system; format /wimax
5. mount usb storage
6. copy the mik rom onto the root of your memory card.
7. Unmount the usb
8. Go back
9. Install ZIP from sdcard
10. Choose zip from sdcard
11. Locate ROM (in ZIP form only) and then press the power button to initiate the install
