    It depends on your uses. The iPad is an oversized iPhone. The Macbook is a full-featured computer.

    MacBook Pro. There are many other laptops that support touch and can fall into so it looks like a ipad.. :-)

    Get a 13″ MacBook Pro. Wait until the iPad comes out and Apple has worked out the kinks in it.

    iPad only 1Ghz processor, no expandable memory or hard drive, no optical drive, plays no flash, only up to 64GB of storage space and has no keyboard.

    You can do hundreds more things on a Macbook Pro

    If the iPad can do everything you want to, just get the iPad. If not, then you should choose the Macbook Pro.
