Question by : What can I do after rooting my htc evo 4g?
I just rooted my htc evo 4g and the only feature that i know my phone can do now is wifi tether. What else can I do. Can someone tell me apps that are rooted that give me cool features and also i heard that i can make my os faster. how can i do that. I just want to know how to unlock cool feature on my phone. How ca i customize the theme, keyboard etc.

Question by : How to root HTC EVO after the ota 2.2 froyo update?
I bought a htc evo and a couple days later my phone got the ota 2.2 froyo update and it updated it, now i cant find a way to root it. any suggestions?

Presently none of the public rooting methods for the EVO work on a 2.2 level system. You’ll need to wait and/or exchange for a 2.1 update 1 level phone and then decline the 2.2 update.
