What video formats does the new Sony Google TV Bluray player support?

Question by alexp: What video formats does the new Sony Google TV Bluray player support?
The Sony just came out with the new Google Tv bluray player for preorder, but I wanted to know the differences between this product and the Logitech’s Google TV. Does the Sony Internet Bluray player support all the video format files that the Logitech supports?

The Google TV part of the player will play the same formats as the other Google TV devices, and otherwise operate practically the same. The only different pertains to the DVD/Blu-Ray section, which other devices may not have.  Read more... (113 words, estimated 27 secs reading time)

theroostersname Question : Should I buy an Apple TV or Google TV unit even if the Wii has internet and Netflix ?
The Nintendo Wii already has all the same features and one that I already own. So there is something for me to buy an Apple TV or Google TV? I really do not much care for Apple, but I was wondering if there is no one to get since my Wii can do all the stuff of Apple and Google can devices. Best answer:

I would get the TV or Google Roku, Apple TV has had some problems.
