llama a la policia.
you can upgrade ur touch pro 2 to wm 6.5 easy
it sucks that my touch pro 2 with t-mobile doesn’t come with 6.5 but at&t’s tilt 2 does. smh!
which touch screen is that ?
whoa! My only Bulid 23060 on My HTC Universal any new bulid?
I guess my main gripe against Windows Mobile, is that it hasn’t really changed much over the years. I used to use a Compaq iPaq in the late 90′s, which was ground breaking PDA. It ran Pocket PC, which worked quite well, despite the occasional (daily) freezes.
What surprises me is that nothing has really changed over the years. The fundamentals have remained the same, which is based on an old way of thinking and an old approach to tackling issues.
I hope this all changes in Windows Mobile 7.
the Apple Iphone software is very basic, it lacks the open source scripting of android as well as the functions of windows mobile, don’t get me wrong its an awesome mobile os, it just lacks features that other os’s have (just added copy and pasting, really now?)
Other Os’s havent been copying apple’s iphone os’s if you would be technical, they are simply making the interface more finger friendly, something thats not apple patented
don’t compare apple and oranges
Anyone know how I can upgrade my siemens sx66 to windows mobile 6.1 or 6.5? please let me know. thanks
The WM mobile software looks good. Texty, but not sexy! I’m not too sure which one to go for, but logic tells me that I should not choose the one which is trying to copy something else.
I’ve heard that the Apple iPhone software is rubbish and is very basic. If that is truely the case, can someone tell me why everyone else (Microsoft, Symbian, Palm, Google, etc) has decided to attempt to copy the user interface and general feel of the iPhone?
Something strange is going on.
i love these vids, i got windows mobile old verson and it sucks, but im defo gnna upgrade to this when my contract is renewed, finally windows saw it had to do some styling to compete with iphone, go Windows!!!
iphone is a fashion accessory, not a phone.
If this is going to be Windows Mobile 6.5, then what just came with HTC Pure and HTC Tilt 2 At&t devices?
At&t says they run the official and much anticipated Windows Mobile 6.5 OS but it doesn’t look like what you are reviewing in the video. I am confused.
Can you clarify this for me please?
how will i be able to update my omnia 2 october 6th
Finally a video without the pocketnow intro
why I can’t see a solid user interface on WM but the Iphone!
It’s nice to see that M$ is getting the right idea with 6.5.1, and doing away with the older UI and applications.
It’s for 6.5.1
Thanks for posting these updates! I’m a little confused, will all these small updates be included in WM 6.5 in October or is it the later 6.5.1 build that will be launched next year?
Keep us updated
You won’t see this on the release WM 6.5 though. But maybe this will find it’s way to the Leo
I thought on the newer updates there was no text on the bottom bar, just icons representing what they were but you can see text icons at 1:34
they really need to just get all the buttons sliders etc more finger friendly first. then go from there.
Really impressed with these small updates you can see the development coming along well. Also very appreciated for these updates Brandon/Pocket Now.
hehe 6th comment! woot im getting the touch pro 2 today
What does it look like when you scroll thru your contacts? Also is there an improvement on scrolling thru letters a-z? Right now the a-z is on the right side… im just wondering if thers a change here aswell
Very impressive.
