No, it doesn’t pick up your strokes accurately enough, nor come with the drivers and software to draw. Not enough people care about the ipad to write apps for it.
Get a REAL pressure sensitive drawing tablet like the wacom intuos, you will not regret it.
Good idea would be a lot of fun, but defiantly outside the primary function, this would also be like finger painting, because stylus do not work on capacitive screens.
